Budapest-based photographer Balint Alovits has a thing for stairs: specifically, the striking spiral staircases in the Hungarian capital. He documents the structure in his latest photography series, Time Machine, which is also a love letter to Art Deco and Bauhaus architecture.

Armed with a passion for discovery, a love of pure aesthetics, and a fascination with the harmony between nature and man-made environments, he creates inspirational photographic pieces with refreshing perspectives that are marked by simplicity, precision, and an emphasis on space. This particular series highlights the idea of infinity as evoked by architectural detailing.
