Visionnaire’s art director filled her home with some of the brand’s best pieces

Visionnaire’s art director Eleonore Cavalli combines personal style with designer pieces.

As the art director and head of communications at luxury furniture brand Visionnaire, Eleonore Cavailli came up with her Milan home’s design together with her husband, Marco Morandini. Of course, after working at Visionnaire for almost 20 years, Eleonore has amassed quite a collection of pieces from the brand. “Today, some of these pieces are considered among the best of what Visionnaire has sold, such as the Brunilde lamp and the Ginevra sofa,” she explains. “We like to combine these pieces with vintage designs and contemporary accessories to create a sort of confrontation.”

The couple have been impressed by how easily adaptable Visionnaire’s pieces are to different aesthetics – a definite plus in the context of their home, as they enjoy mixing and matching different colours, textures and styles. “We like to mix soft and warm materials like velvets with cold ones, like stainless steel, bronze and crystal,” explains Eleonore. “We enjoy the different tonalities of beige paired with bold colours.”

The dining area features key pieces from Visionnaire including the ornate Barlmoral candleholder and Galahad chandelier.

A painting by Suzy Gomez hangs above the Eugene sofa in the living room.

A personal library nestles in the corner of the living area.

A mirrored feature wall in the master bedroom reflects Visionnaire's Big Sleep bed and Mizar chandelier.

Eleonore injects her home with whimsical touches such as colourful artwork, unconventional lighting, playful tabletop decor and cushions in varying shades of purple. Smaller sculptures mingle with favourite tomes on the coffee table.
