Delight in the brand’s immaculate new store.
You know a store is a good one when it’s able to transport you, and that’s exactly what a trip to Bowerbird Home is like. While your initial intention may be to find a new headboard or étagère, suddenly you feel like you’re perusing blue-and-white porcelain and stylishly distressed chairs somewhere between Provence and Chiang Mai.
The brand, a favourite among design lovers for their well-curated collections, has just opened their flagship boutique at home and interiors destination Horizon Plaza. Located on the 8th floor, the 5,000sqft showroom offers the same charming shopping experience as their previous space – a result of the high ceilings, immaculate natural light, expansive sea views and thoughtful, creative displays.
“The store will be a constantly evolving feast,” shares Deirdre Gleeson, General Manager of Bowerbird Home. “Our products range from Belgian linen sofas to antique wedding cabinets to Indian bone inlay furniture.” Apart from their expanded selection, they’re also stocking more brands including Wedgwood wallpaper and fabrics, Lizard Orchid pieces and Chhatwal & Jonsson cushions.
Brick and mortar may not be an investment other retailers are willing to make these days, but judging from the way Bowerbird Home has dressed their nest, they’re certainly settling in and making theirs a place that continually delights and inspires.
Bowerbird Home opens this weekend at 8/F Horizon Plaza, 2 Lee Wing St, Ap Lei Chau.
